We truly enjoyed our stay at Gabriel's. Our room, George, was very clean and the bed really comfortable. We had a little balcony overlooking the courtyard, a fireplace, and jetted tub with two shower heads. However, the best part of this hotel is the cozy atmosphere. The courtyard garden is lovely and a perfect spot for the complimentary breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The manager, Rod, was particularly helpful in recommending great restaurants and even made reservations for us. The only downside is that the parking is a bit far away, and the complimentary shuttle was not available when we needed it. Overall, though, it was a wonderful hotel and I would stay here again whenever we visit Provincetown.

Room Tip: Choose a room facing the courtyard.

Thank you for the kind review. We are excited to hear you had a good time with us in George room.
British-themed interior design as well as the cozy balcony make the room special, while our staff are working very hard to provide the best quality service at our centrally-located hotel.

We are sorry the shuttle was not available when you needed it. The service is only available during business hours and when it is not used by other guests who requested the service in advance. The parking, at the same time, is just a short picturesque walk away from the hotel. September in Provincetown is splendid, and we hope you had a great time admiring the sights on the way there. Moreover, we are located in the very heart of Provincetown where the car is hardly needed.

Thank you for your comments and kind words. We will be looking forward to welcoming you at The Provincetown Hotel at Gabriel's some time soon.

We stayed two nights at The Provincetown Hotel. It was a last minute decision after enjoying our day trip, and we were lucky to squeeze into the last available room. The staff were very accommodating, the included breakfast was delicious, the sheets were luxurious, and the garden was enchanting.

After reading numerous glowing reviews, we were a bit surprised when we entered our room, Christopher. Looking around, it looked quite dated (e.g. the pillows by the window had seen better days). It was more reminiscent of a motel than boutique lodging. The bathroom was very cramped and the shower was in disrepair. The room faces the main road, so we heard the conversations of everyone walking by and were woken up by glass recycling trucks around 6 am.

After an awful night in Christopher, we requested a different room, hoping for something just a bit quieter. Rod kindly switched us to Colette. Perhaps with the previous night still in our minds, Colette was like something out of a dream. The room was beautifully decorated and warmly lit. The bathroom was newly renovated and featured a shower that was as big as our last bathroom. There was a small fireplace and comfortable couch.

I would definitely recommend you stay here, but avoid Christopher if possible.

Dear Michelle,

We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay altogether, but sorry to learn you did not have a good time in Christopher. Christopher is the perfect dog-friendly value room for a short stay.It is more economical than Colette and has everything one need to know on their visit to Provincetown. Luckily, our staff was able to assist you with finding the room that was a fit.

Please, give us a call next time you decide to book - we will be able to assist. Also, our Room Overview page on the Provincetown Hotel website is extremely helpful while making a choice of a room.

Love Gabriel's Inn. It is my favorite place to stay for rest and rejuvenation. I love the coziness and the solitude of the rooms. I especially enjoy the hospitality of the staff; from Darya at the front desk, to Jean the breakfast cook, and especially the Elizabeth's (owners of the Inn) who great their guests over breakfast in the Breakroom every morning. It is obvious that the quality and experience of your stay is their utmost priority. Gabriel's is also a quick walk to downtown Provincetown (~3 minutes). I highly recommend a stay at Gabriel's for a luxurious, restful, and lovely experience - and a great homemade breakfast!

Room Tip: Ariel has its own patio and offers views of the historic town hall and the Pilgrim Monument..

We are excited to hear that Gabriel's has become your favorite place in Provincetown and on the Cape over time. We agree - our central location as well as the amenities are unbeatable. The secret of the wonderful experience with us is the people though. Our staff are working very hard to make you feel home with us.
We hope to see you coming back to The Provincetown Hotel at Gabriel's again and again.

First weekend ever getting to stay right in Ptown (husband was shooting a wedding), and only one street over from Commercial St, no less! As soon as we walked through the gate, I knew I was in for a great weekend. The courtyard alone is just so quaint and comfortable, providing the visitor with a peaceful escape. I could have sat out there for hours, and did spend quite a bit of time there! Our room was lovely and well appointed, looked like it had just been redone, actually. And the breakfast in the morning was more than enough - eggs were cooked right then and there, and there was a great assortment of breads and pastries, and the coffee was good and fresh. Nice thing is if you want more, you can get more!
The young lady that was working the desk gave us a recommendation for dinner for a place a couple blocks down Bradford St - Mistralina. This restaurant was awesome - great outdoor seating, friendly staff, amazing food AND we each got a free glass of wine because we were staying at Gabriel's!
Gabriel's was a great place to stay. Super conveniently located a block from the hustle and bustle of Commercial Street, it provided us with a quiet, comfortable place to stay, and we felt very well cared for. We will definitely be coming back!

I used to be road warrior so I have stayed literally in hundreds of hotels across the country so I understand what accounts for a quaily hotel. My wife and I frequent the cape and this was our first stay at this property. We enjoyed the property so much we extended our stay an additional night for a total of three. Beautiful rooms that are very well kept & my hats off to housekeeping as some of the cleanest I have ever stayed in with attention to every detail. Great made to order breakfast which is included in your room rate. Staff is very accommodating & wanted to put out a special thank you to Rod who is exceptional & attentive to any assistance you may have during your stay.
Nice surprise to know they even had beach chairs & towels you could use free of charge when spending some time on the beach.
Property is I an ideal spot with easy walking distance to all atractions of commercial street. They have earned our business & we will now stay only here when visiting the cape moving forward. I give this my highest recommendation when booking your stay in Provincetown..
