A-MAZING service & food!!! We are vegetarian and coincidentally so was our waiter. They had me at the warm focaccia & fresh olives but to top it off, made a penne alla vodka with veggies sautéed to perfection..so much that they actually added a scrumptious texture and flavor to the dish... it wasn’t just the run of the mill onions & peppers, they added a medley of asparagus, shrooms, eggplant, etc.. which gave the dish a delicious depth of flavor. Way to my heart with superp food and service to boot!

We had a reservation but we had a very long wait for our table. It wasn't the restaurants fault but the waiting area isn't great, so that part wasn't great, as we were all jammed into a very small area. The waiter was very good. We had the Caesar salad and Melanzana al Forna to start, both were good.I had the spaghetti vongole it was slightly cold.3 people had Polo Rustico all thought they got way too much vegetables.I didn't, I wished I got all those veg as did another friend.Another friend had one of the specials and the other had the Risotto both were very happy with theirs.

This is the best restaurant in town. Menu is great and they always have specials. Everything is superb with excellent wine selections. Food is very authentic to southern Italy. Service is excellent and Marie and Vinnie are the best. Tough to save room for dessert.

There aren't a lot of restaurants to rave about between Boston and Providence, but Vico is one of the few. My wife and I were in the area, and based on tripadvisor reviews, gave Vico a try- and wow, we are happy we did. Food was fantastic- excellent antipasto, warm fresh bread, fantastic oyster appetizer, excellent tender octopus salad, tasty hearty pasta bolongnese, tasty seafood risotto, creamy gelato- all wonderful. Upon sitting down, the friendly owner chef came to the table to greet us and recommended some wines- his Pinot noir recommendation was fantastic. Service was outstanding- Alex was warm, friendly, professional, efficient- we'll certainly ask for him next time. The restaurant is family owned, smallish, casual but white table cloth attractive, has gluten free pasta available, and not far from Norwood Hospital. We will certainly be back and will enthusiastically recommend to friends and family. Well worth going out of your way for a very nice experience- an excellent hidden gem.

2 appetizers, 2 mains and a bottle of wine for $100. The food was spectacular and service was well appointed . We will be back again with our friends. It's a very casual and homely venue with a lot to offer . Come with an appetite and time to enjoy.
