Outstanding!!!! Very attentive service and very special treatment for our 43rd wedding anniversary.....from the lovely heart on the table arranged out of rose petals to the glass of champagne and special appetizer it truly was a celebration dinner to remember. Our entire evening was elegant...we were seated in the Wine Room away from the main dining/bar area (which can get a bit noisy) and it was lovely. Our meal was exceptional, the filet and tenderloin incredible! Excellent attentive service from start to finish.....well done Capital Grille!

My wife and I travel a lot throughout U.S. and Europe, eat out of home a lot...and have a pretty good feel for superior quality food, service, and price value.

Newton Capital Grille's alla carte pricing is over the top for suburban Boston, and its service underwhelming. Our waitress' voice was so high-pitched and piercing...that we--and the couple with us--thought she could easily star on SNL as a fiction character. We won't be back anytime soon.

Delicious meal. Attentive service. Our waiter Matt was wonderful and surprised us with special bday dessert. Steaks were incredible. Only complaint that was that as night went on restaurant became very crowded and loud. Tables are tight and difficult to leave restaurant without squeezing through very tight walkways and asking others to either move their chairs or get up.

Had a nice meal last night at the Chestnut Hill Capital Grille, taking advantage of Restaurant Week. There were 3 apps to chose from (clam chowder, wedge or Ceaser salad), 4 or 5 entrees (Salmon, 2 steaks, and others) and 2 desserts (Creme Brulee or flourless chocolate cake). Plus mashed potatoes and green beans for the table.

Chowder and Wedge were very good, as were the steaks (12 oz bone in strip for me, 8 oz filet for my friend). Potatoes were good, beans were a bit limp. Friend liked the brulee, my cake is in the fridge for later.

Service was good, but a bit quick. 1 hour from seated to done, we would have liked time to linger. Price can't be beat ($38/each for the meal). Space is nice, but loud as conversations carry very well.

Thank goodness for Restaurant Week and I was able to eat here again. Yes, this place is very pricey but so worth it. From their appetizer to their dessert -- no complain at all. They are so busy, so reservation is a must.
