Excellent food. Generous portions and very rarely crowded to the point of being uncomfortable. Good traditional Portuguese food. Casual atmosphere. Check out the specials. The server is very friendly, accomodating and will take the time to explain and/or recommend.

First-time visit, impressed with clean, simple decor, friendly greeting. Enjoyed two varieties of Portugese beer with appetizers: homemade fried shrimp cakes (Rissois de Camarao) and sausage "served over flames" (Chourica Assada em Aguardente) grilled in an amusing crockery pig. The kale soup--with creamy potato stock--was a bit bland. Followed by grilled calamari and shrimp kebabs (one of the "specials"), and shishkebab with chourica, sirloin tips, pork and chicken, served with linguini, both entrees very tasty. My friend didn't rave about the Carne de Porco Alentejana--stewed pork cubes with sauteed clams over home style potato fries which seemed a little dry--but she did devour the clams which were fresh and well seasoned. The portions were huge! We all had lots to take home, no room for dessert. Excellent service!!

This place is a great choice for delicious Portuguese food, and I have never eaten a bad meal here. My go-to meal is a Bifana and fries, but the Pork Alentejana is another stand-out. Save room for dessert, especially if you like chocolate mousse.
