Anchor In Hotel was a place we found on line because we wanted to stay in Hyannis Massachusetts and we wanted to be on the water. To be honest when you first pull up you may be tempted to leave because the outside is not much to look at but once inside your opinion will change. The rooms are clean and most have views of the inner harbor and the ocean. The lobby was nice and the people that we encountered were very friendly. The two days we stayed there we ate the provided breakfast and found it to be better than expected. I would definitely stay there again if I was back in the area. The only drawback is that it rained the entire time we were there. They also told us of a local restaurant that we ate at every night we were there it was great, it was called the Black Cat Tavern.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view

We chose the Anchor In for it's location to a venue we were attending. The "Inn" was very nice. Staff very welcoming, Rooms were clean and very nice. The view of the harbor was gorgeous. Breakfast was included in our stay. Food was ok. All in all would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Anchor In for three nights. We had booked a standard room, which we didn't like because of it darkness and upgraded to a "Deluxe-Room" with a balcony facing the harbour. Location perfect if you plan to visit Cape Cod. Boats to Nantucket and Martas Vineyard departs just 10 mins walk from the hotel. A continental breakfast, which contained enough for a good start of the day, is served in a nice ambience. In 20-25 mins walk you reach Main Street and a very nice restaurant called Tumi Ceviche. Do try it and you won't be disappointed!

Lovely place to stay. The staff were very helpful and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. Perfect location by the harbour and the rooms were large and included a coffee maker, iron and ironing board and safe. Enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening!

The staff, rooms, location, amenities, breakfast were all faultless. Add to that the view of the harbour, the outdoor area and the cute touch of flying country flags of guests staying. This establishment deserves AAA rating and would recommend without hesitation.
