There are always bad experience even at good restaurants. What makes them tolerable is when the owner, takes ownership. Not here. The food is not good enough for the owner to feel she's doing us all a favor. Waited one hour and 15 minutes from seating to dinner. No apology from my waitress. In fact, she was essentially MIA. One meal arrived ice cold, the second seafood meal (on pasta) lukewarm, and the steak was 1/8 of inch thick and mostly gristle. Stunning. Complained to the owner, whose excuse was that it was busy night and "it happens" and that the cold meals were a "teaching moment" for the staff. (Isn't that something you learn at cooking school and not on my dime?) One meal was taken off the bill at my insistence. Go for drinks, if at all. That's it. There are much better places to eat on the Cape where they actually take ownership of their food and service.
