We were tiring of seafood and gastro cuisine and kids just wanted a good old pizza. This place delivers that. Has about 7 tables which are cafe style, paper plates, sport on the TV. But it worked for us and the pizza is good. We shared a mega 17" to share - delish!

Carmine's offers pizza by the slice like most pizza joints - and its a good thing. But the real deal are the pizzas made to order, the white pizzas with ingredients you just don't find in a regular pizzeria. So good I t's just really tough not to come back every day...

I have been eating at Carmine's since it opened. I live two towns away from Chatham, but as a native New Yorker now living on Cape Cod, I can say it is totally worth the 15-20 minute (each way) drive to get this pizza. It's very hard to find good, New York style pizza on Cape Cod, and even when I'm in a rush to get a quick dinner, if we're getting pizza, it's at Carmine's.
The crust is perfectly thin, without getting soggy from your toppings. Their kalamata olives and sausage are so tasty, with complex flavors that go well with the delicious sauce they use here. My husband is lactose-intolerant and has ordered a cheeseless pizza with other toppings. I've tried that, too, and it really and truly is great!
They also never skimp on the toppings, always giving you enough to almost overflow on the pie.
It is a little pricey, but still worth every penny. Good salads and calzones, too.

Carmine's is still a favorite spot right on Main Street in the middle of town. Their limited menu offers fresh pizza (a real draw for passersby) with numerous options for toppings. Add drinks for a tasty meal that needs to be consumed outside as the place is much too small for the crowds. This is a place designed for the tourist trade, who needs a bite to eat while shopping on Main Street. The staff is a bit "rough around the edges" when dealing with customers, probably because of the constant pressure to serve hungry customers who demand immediate service. Good for a quick bite!

We got plain but a lot of good topping options. A little to much tomato sauce for our taste but not bad.
