We were in Chatham for lunch and 3 people recommended this place. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff is excellent. Great service from the hostess to waitress. The food is the best. Soups were awesome and the salmon flatbread was fabulous. I liked the herb tea and on the way out our waitress gave me an extra tea bag as she knew we were staying in hotel and thought I would like another cup that evening. Don't miss this restaurant if you visit Chatham.

This is a very busy restaurant and they handle the number of customers very well. We arrived on time (19:30) but our table wasn't ready because the previous people hadn't finished. This was not a problem at all - we were kept fully informed and had a drink at the bar whilst we waited. We had calamari to start and swordfish and sole for main courses. All extremely good. There were many other choices on the menu we would have liked to try. The starter plate was taken away from the table and almost immediately our mains arrived despite the restaurant being extremely busy. This was actually too quick as neither of us could anywhere near finish our main courses. If it's important to you to have a pause between courses, it's probably worth stating that when you place your order.

We went on an off-season weeknight and went early. By the time we left (around 6:30) the place had completely filled up. Definitely make a reservation if you go.

The food was really good. I had chicken and shrimp scampi. Way too much to finish. Service was excellent. attentive without hovering.

We showed up without reservations, but were still seated promptly. This was Columbus Day weekend, so while it wasn't packed, there was still a good crowd.

Service was strong, a very nice selection, and frankly, this was the best dinner of our stay. It wasn't knock your socks off, but it was served in reasonable time, the flavors were fully developed, and while I had beef tips, my wife had shrimp scampi and all was well prepared, hot and delicious.

We have gone to the Impudent Oyster several times this summer for lunch. They serve the most delicious scallops I have ever had. Everyone loved their meal. Great service, portions, and quality.
