“As good as it gets but no Peach Pie”

We were hoping to get a peach pie so we got on line before opening and believe me there is a line. NOt open daily...must check their schedule. But they wouldn't have pie until noon and only blueberry and tomato. Why is it so hard hard to find a peach pie or peach ice cream during peach season? So instead we got a sekection of muffins including apple cinnamon muffin and an almond quossant and COOKIES! The best peanutbutter cookie I have ever had. The oatmeal cranberry cookies were perfection...not too sweet. All delicious which explains the reason for the line. A fun new stop in my sister's hometown but no peach pie.We will be back hopefully next time we will visit the gift shop.

We go to Hopkins house several times while we are up in the cape. I believe the doors open at 7:30? There is a line. Moves fast - worth the wait. I bought the cookbook. They have specialties each morning so you want to ask. The sausage pie is to die for. We buy extra to freeze for later in the year. The french toast muffins - heaven. Cinnamon buns - YES! Everything is amazing.

Staying at Oceans Edge, we were looking for a quick breakfast before a morning of Birding. Sadly this bakery, gift shop opens after 8AM.
We returned the next day at 9AM and HAPPINESS...OPEN. Fresh and inventive muffins, scones and other breakfast delights were available. We enjoyed the moist flavorful Blue Berry Muffin and Morning Glory. The muffins were baked to perfection; crunchy top, moist center. I liked that the muffins were not huge. Just the right size to satisfy. The coffee was just OK, and service was friendly.

Stopped here early in the morning and had a great selection - lots of veggie/nuts/berries in the muffins and scones. They were great, especially the bakery special, however nothing plain really for the kids, so you might have to stop elsewhere for the little ones. Loved the owner and the atmosphere of the shop.

Everthing we purchased was excellent (a few scones, a few muffins, a rasperry bar, a peppermint frosted brownie and a blueberry lemon pound cake). Only knock i can put on the place is it seemed to be out of a lot of options fairly early in the day. Several people before us in line requested items that were unfortunately sold out. I guess best advice is swing by just after opening.....
