The views of the golf course and the setting by cart paths and the bike trail are great, but if you actually plan to use your room in the Arbor Village you’ll be disappointed, especially after seeing the four diamond plaques in the Mansion at check in. Housekeeping doesn’t vacuum well as evidenced by large bits of food under the coffee table. I didn’t go looking for problems, but I needed to move it to open the pull out sofa bed. And then I noticed sesame seeds from someone else’s stay on the sheets that must have fallen through the couch cushions. I appreciate not having to make the bed, but I’d rather put them on myself so I know they’re clean. Housekeeping twice verbally offered to vacuum, but they never did.
As others have noted, the bathroom is uncomfortably small - hard to wash your face at the sink and not a lot of room to navigate anywhere else. The tub also drained very slowly. After the vacuuming annoyance, I didn’t bother asking for,a plumber for our short, two night stay.
Bring earplugs as the walls are paper thin. You can hear people talking at normal indoor volume, especially when your head is right against the shared wall on the convertible sofa.
I may try the mansion side someday, but the other reviewers are right - the Villages just aren’t all that good.More
