What better way to cool down on a hot summer evening than HOMEMADE ice cream!!!! Absolutely delicious. Buy your cone and enjoy as you watch the sunset. Be aware this is a cash-only establishment.

We took our family for a drive to get ice cream based on the reviews and write ups we have seen lately. This place is nothing fancy but the ice cream is excellent.

They offer benches to sit on and look at the amazing view of the water while you eat your delicious treat.

The one downfall is that the only restroom around is a giant port-a-potty that isn't far enough away from where you sit to eat.

If you want good fresh ice cream definitely got here! Biscotti, chocolate marshmallow, mint chocolate chip was what we got. If you are looking for single comes, just order at the window. If you want other varieties and want to take some home, go inside.

This little place is located right at the end of the road at one of the main marinas in Oxford, so you've got a great view, on top of the fact that you won't find better ice cream in this lifetime. The people who work there couldn't be any nicer, and it's open til 9 pm, which may as well be midnight in the sleepy little hamlet of Oxford. You can order outside, through the window, or you can go on in and browse the freezers for even more selections (pre-packed in pints ad quarts). Either way, they make ice cream daily and nothing sits around for long, so no need to worry your pretty little heads about freshness. They use a method that is halfway between gelato and ice cream, and this is good news because it means more milk and less heavy cream than traditional ice cream, but it tastes every bit as good. Sometimes they make bona fide gelato as well. There are three things you should know. (1) They close all winter, which is a tragedy. (2) They have nowhere to sit inside and a couple benches outside, but the benches are not in the shade, so you may want to bring your ice cream to the pretty park on Main Street, a few blocks away, and eat it there. (3) Get a taste first, which they will be happy to give you. The other day I bought a quart of some coffee/mocha flavor and someone must have messed up, cause it didn't have the right amount of sugar in it. I always prefer things not too sweet, but this had to be the strangest-tasting ice cream I ever had--maybe there was no sugar at all in it. I am sure that it was just a fluke, and it attests to the fact that this stuff is home-made on the premises; but I'll be getting a wee taste before I bring home any more quarts. Notice I gave them 5 stars. We all make mistakes and this place rocks the casbah.

As someone with a dairy allergy, I almost never get to experience ice cream, much less a creamery. Not only did they have options that were non-dairy, but those options were superb!!
