This is the perfect place to have a lot of fun with just a little money. The pizza there is also excellent. I also liked the selection of drinks.

There are sooooo many pizza places in Bethesda. Everyone has their favorite and we tend to remain loyal even when the quality might have slipped. Thankfully I took one such opportunity (There has to be better pizza around here...) to find this delicious home to fresh New York style Pizza with a funny name. Vuk means Wolf, apparently, and you can find the wolf motif on t-shirts they sell, but the Pizza is the real star. Vuk doesn't go for fancy, new styles, just great renditions of the classics - Pepperoni, Sausage, Veggie, Sicilian, and White. Nothing tastes canned or frozen, just fresh and fantastic. Luckily, I had brought my 3rd grader along, because the night of our first visit, this was somehow a requirement. Families love Vuk for the pizza and the pinball - a range of games from classic to the very latest. Honestly, I didn't know what my tablet-reared son would think of good, old school pinball, but he loved it. We all did, and we look forward to bringing the whole family back. Oh, and they sell slices that Louis CK would love.
$10 kept my two boys busy for two hours - and the pizza is great, too! Perfect rainy day activity. So glad they've opened here!
Whether you are a veteran player or just looking for something new to try, this place is the destination for pinball in our area. The managers are serious about keeping the machines in good condition. Visit on Sunday at 5PM to see some of the best players in the area compete in the local pinball league. The pizzas are not really that great, but if you are hungry while playing, a slice will suffice. Good bottled beer selection and friendly staff. There is a small patio outside where you can get away from the noise.
My wife and I are have these great memories of playing pinball as kids but have not been able to really rekindle those days until now. Typically, pinball machines are squeezed into loud bars, and usually not in good repair. However, that has changed with the opening of VUK (referencing a mechanical activity in pinball machines). Now we can play ten machines, enjoy a tasty slice of pizza, all while sipping on a quality beer or soda.
Pros: variety of machines, upkeep of machines, prices (0.5 versus 1.0 in many parlors), selection and taste of pizza, number of tables, variety and quality of drinks
Cons: it closes every day...LOL
If you find yourself in Bethesda or DC for that matter and are suffering from pinball fever head to VUK. You'll be glad you did.
