Venerable bistro on Monument Square. Arrived at 11:30, lunch-time opening. Very clean, including bathrooms. Menu very innovative. Difficult to make a choice. My Gulf of Maine haddock with fresh peeky toe crab was outstanding. Very, very fresh and flavorful. Served with basil chimichurri, sweet corn kernels, spinach, and garlic mashed potatoes. Yum, yum, yum. Starter soup of roasted pepper and tomato also very tasty with excellent thick texture and stimulating mouth feel. Service very good. Prices very reasonable for quality delivered. Only negative is dated interior - looks like it has not been refreshed for a while. It can be dark when sitting away from front windows. Worth a visit. I will be back.
