Ordered appetizers and all of it was good except the sliders and the tiny lobster cost $39. The restroom was disgusting with an overflowing toilet getting the entire bathroom floor wet. Obviously unattended to for a long time with an overflowing waste can.

This was a great spot for lunch. We were seated upstairs by a window which gave us a nice view of the water. It is fashioned as an old Irish Pub, spot on, in a truly old building with beautiful brick and wood work. I ordered a burger which I enjoyed, but the real star was the mini hand made apple pies. They were perfect, two on the plate, a simple crust and apples with no additional sweetening. They were topped with real home made cinnamon whip cream. A cup of coffee rounded it off. An easy go to place in Portland.

They have great lunches. Good beer and ppl are friendly. I like their burgers and fish sandwiches. Good menu. Reasonable. Portland is a great place for foodies.

We got to try local craft brews and yummy chowder in a nice pub atmosphere. Felt very much like the pubs we visited in Ireland. Great history here written all over the walls!

Walked up the hill to this place for lunch between Land and Sea tours. Fabulous atmosphere . Originally a grocery store in the 1800’s that also sheltered a saloon. John Feeney’s sons changed their names to Ford when they went to Hollywood to direct films.
Gorgeous dark woods and bricks. Impressive bar. Our food was exceptionally good. We had the fish and chips, Downeaster Rueben with haddock, fish chowder and mini fish tacos that were not so mini. All made out of haddock. SO very good. Batter on fish was very light and crispy.
Would have given a 5 star rating but the food was extremely slow coming out and our server, Kristopher, was lethargic. In fact, the whole staff was listless. That was disappointing.
