We stayed at the B&B for two nights. This is a fabulous place. The accommodations were great, hospitality wonderful and the food was perfect. We could have not stayed at a better B&B. The owner(s) were very cordial and accommodating. We have stayed in several B$B's around the country and Europe. This one is the best by far.

We stayed at Scotch Hill Inn over Labor Day weekend and were very pleased with the charming Inn. The owners were so helpful in booking reservations for dinner, recommending places we would enjoy and listening to what we were looking for so we would be happy with our meals.

The rooms were immaculate. The front porch was relaxing in the afternoon with a glass of wine. The inn is a block away from downtown, which makes it convient for shopping while still close enough to the beach.

The best thing is their gourment breakfast. The last thing at night and the first thing on my mind in the morning is "What will I choose for breakfast. They make it special, eating on the porch overlooking their lovely gardens.

My husband and I have been going to Ogunquit Maine for over 30 years. We decided to stay at The Scotch Hill Inn this time because of its fabulous location. Well, where have we been! This Inn was superb. Everything about it. The room was magnificent. We stayed in a room in the rear that was spacious, clean, comfortable, had a porch with a grille on the back, and best of all, it was dog friendly. Very private. It was fabulous. Later, we went out front and we sat on the lovely front porch on rocking chairs and we were watching people go by, the trolleys rolling along and having wonderful conversation with the owners and other people who were staying there too. It felt like "home sweet home".
Later, we walked all around town not having to worry about where we were going to park our car and pay the large parking charges. We walked to a lovely restaurant recommended to us by the owners...who know the area to a "T". Then, we walked to the Ogunquit Playhouse...about a 15 minute stroll. It was just great! The next morning, we had a fantastic "made to order" breakfast on the front porch. It was delicious...with a fresh-picked flower on every table from their beautiful garden. I HIGHLY recommend The Scotch Hill Inn to anyone who is looking for a wonderful, relaxing, peaceful time away from home.
Sincerely, Diane and Anthony from Belmont Massachusetts

The Scotch Hill Inn was awesome. We had a wonderful gourmet breakfast. My room was great. Sitting on the front porch was a
pleasure watching everyone stroll by. The location is great,
walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach.
We will be back next year.

Thank you,

NE Pats Fan

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Scotch Hill Inn during July 2008. It was our third year staying at the Inn. We were in Room 3 this year. The room was very clean. The innkeepers were very friendly, and the breakfast was great! We have two complaints: 1, the bed was REALLY hard, and squeaked if you made any slight movements (like lifting up your arm), and 2, the room was air conditioned, but the control was in the hallway, and it got very hot during the night (maybe the a/c is on a timer?). In 2006 and 2007 we stayed in Room 1, which was VERY small (no place to put your suitcase). We had the same complaints about Room 1 (hard bed & a/c not cool enough). Despite the uncomfortable sleeping conditions, we continue to return to the Inn, because the location can't be beat! It's so close to the beach, restaurants, and shops.
