After eating a lot of seafood whenever I go to this area of Maine, I tend to crave a pizza after awhile. Pizza Napoli "hits the spot" every time and not only because the food is good. The owners care enough to be open all year long, 7 days a week. It's one of those wonderfully consistent things that I can count on when I visit Ogunquit-Wells-York area.
The owners---David and Carlos---are very charming people who seem to care a lot about their customers and have passion for their work. (note: they also own Angelina's next door...excellent food/service...and I reviewed Angelina's with an old Trip Advisor email account a few years back).
My favorite is the Margarita Pizza with some extra fresh Mozzarella and fresh basil. Another thing about their pizza...the crust is very easily digestible and their sauce tastes like tomatoes. It's not disguised by excess garlic and spices to "cover up" some old-tasting sauce...a technique used by so many Italian restaurants. Everything I have had there is fresh-tasting. I also recommend their Italian Wedding Soup (when they have it)
There is a fireplace and many cute tables/chairs, including a heated outdoor area. You can even sit at a small bar and have a glass of wine while waiting for the pizza (if you get it to go).
