So we turned in. Family owned frozen custard was exquisitely smooth & delicious. I had a scoop of blackberry & my husband had a tin roof sundae with pumpkin custard. They have a good variety of sundaes, floats, etc. Pop up mobs in the country were on to something! Closed after Labor Day sadly...

Never had frozen custard before, so we were passing through late night and decided to stop. Very simple menu of flavors, sometimes you need that for all the other ice cream places that have a billion choices. Went with a small flavor of the week or day which was butter pecan. Very smooth and refreshing for a summer day. The price was right too, even though I was shorted a buck which I didn't give any mind to at the time. More concerned about eating the custard before melting because it is soft. And I won the debate as to what the difference was between custard and ice cream, it all comes down to eggs!

Friendly customer service, the custard is made on sight and always fresh! It was definitely worth the trip.

This place has the best custard I’ve tasted. Creamy and flavorful. They have three flavors—chocolate, vanilla and the flavor of the day.

I tried a scoop of the vanilla and a scoop of the orange pineapple (flavor of the day). My wife tried the Tin Roof Sundae. Excellent all around.

I would gladly give five stars but for the skimpy portions. For the money paid a customer should expect a little more in their cone or cup.

Otherwise, a great tasting product.

This is incredibly rich and delicious custard, hand scooped not from a machine. The texture will make you want to return again and again. But be warned that the scoops are not as generous as typical scoops. The regular size is rather small by most standards. Not so much a complaint but more of a heads up to perhaps order a size up. Only 3 flavors available - vanilla, chocolate and the flavor of the day. We visited here then the Wild Animal Park about 10 minutes away — fun afternoon.
