There aren't alot of food choices in this part of Maine so was very happy with the variety and quality at this cafe. Located on a pond, it is very charming and quaint. The staff was friendly and the coffee good and strong. It is counter service and casual.

We had a pulled pork sandwich with a solid coleslaw and a pastrami. Both were good. I would definitely return and have the chowder on the next visit.

We enjoyed our lunch at this casual, family place. You order at the counter and sit at tables, where your food is brought to you. Their are many choices, and the food was well prepared. Not fine dining, but good food!

We stopped in for lunch while on vacation last week. The food was delicious and atmosphere charming. Server Brittany was very sweet! They serve the best coffee. The view was so awesome from the deck.

We came for lunch and tried the panini sandwiches. They were very good and ended our lunch with delicious cookies. I especially liked the historic location and the cute village of Mt. Vernon. There's nothing really around there, but worth the pretty drive. The cooks and servers were friendly and down-to-earth and made us feel welcome. The only downside was that my cappuccino was more like a frothy latte. At least they had some ceramic mugs on the wall that you can use. I was so worried when I saw all the paper cups. Coffee does not taste as good in those take-away cups.
