Lovely setting with Mt. Katahdin and the lake as our unobscured room view. Knotty pine abounds in a tasteful lodge-type way. There is Ample and comfy communal space. Kayaks available. The owners were going to be out and had someone there to greet us. The bedroom was large and comfortable and clean. Being on the first floor was nice except for a little foot falll and facilities noises from upstairs. Delicious breakfast and friendly interactions with Debbie. Rick likes things the way he likes them, including requiring us to sit next to each other rather than across at the table, for example. It could be a wonderful get-away or base camp for hiking Baxter State Park. Rick is knowledgeable about the area if you can manage to not get your head bitten off If he doesn’t like your question.

A beautiful lodge in the most gorgeous setting! We were only able to stay for one night because of our schedule, but wished we could have stayed much longer. We loved our room, with an incredible view. The owners could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Loved the breakfast in the morning too!

This is a fantastic vacation spot for the outdoors. First of all you cannot beat the lake and mountain views from all the rooms. They also have a cabin across the street which is great for families. We went to fish and hike and had great success. The trails for snowmobiling and ATV's are for miles and well groomed. The owners are more than hospitable and have great stories about the area. The breakfasts are delicious and if you go out on the lakes you will see quiet a few bald eagles. It is very rustic, homey and comfortable. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast!!!!!

Room tip: All the rooms have views of the mountain and lakes

5 Lakes Lodge is a wonderful vacation spot. Great owners that made you feel right at home from the time you stepped in the front door. Deb was an amazing cook. Especially her blueberry scones! :} . Both Rick and Deb were very knowledgeable about the area and all it has to offer. We enjoyed our three nights there and look forward to visiting again soon. Highly recommend.

Room tip: corner bottom room was quiet and very comfortable.

Wonderful place, great owners, pleasingly rustic, but with all amenities. Breakfast was great, get the french toast. A bit more pricey than most, but well worth it. Views were beautiful too. Right on the lake, for swimming, boating, kayaking, and you can use their kayaks, no extra charge. LOVED this place, will definitely go back. Also hiking at nearby Baxter State Park.
