5 Lakes Lodge is a wonderful vacation spot. Great owners that made you feel right at home from the time you stepped in the front door. Deb was an amazing cook. Especially her blueberry scones! :} . Both Rick and Deb were very knowledgeable about the area and all it has to offer. We enjoyed our three nights there and look forward to visiting again soon. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: corner bottom room was quiet and very comfortable.

Wonderful place, great owners, pleasingly rustic, but with all amenities. Breakfast was great, get the french toast. A bit more pricey than most, but well worth it. Views were beautiful too. Right on the lake, for swimming, boating, kayaking, and you can use their kayaks, no extra charge. LOVED this place, will definitely go back. Also hiking at nearby Baxter State Park.

We had a lovely three days here, enjoyed swimming and kayaking in front of the Lodge and hiking in beautiful Baxter State Park. Amazing scenery! The hosts took us for a boat ride where we saw several Eagles! 5 Lakes Lodge offers a hearty & delicious breakfast to start your day and a large & comfortable whirlpool tub to end an active day.

5 Lakes Lodge is truly a gem - it is far and away one of the most memorable and beautiful accommodations my husband and I have ever stayed in. The decor was beautiful, the bed huge and comfortable and everything was so clean it felt brand new!
Debbie and Rick were so fun to talk to and full of great advice for exploring the region. The view from our room across the lake toward Katahdin was stunning and I'll be thinking about the homemade granola and blueberry-banana-walnut pancakes for a long long time.... We hiked Katahdin while we were there and Debbie kindly packed us a trail breakfast since we got such an early start to the day - she was so thoughtful! We will always remember our 2 perfect days at 5 Lakes Lodge!

We rented the cabin at Libby Lane from Rick and Debbie at 5 Lakes Lodge for five nights. It was a perfect cabin for us, having all a large family would need. The kids loved paddling in the kayaks, and they had luck fishing bass from the shore. There is a beautiful view of the mountains, including Kathadin, from the dock down at the lake. Wildlife like loons and eagles are abundant on the lake. We did not see moose, but they are frequently spotted, too. Great hiking and fishing is in close proximity. We had a nice hike in Baxter state park, which is a short drive away. Rick has great knowledge of the area and pointed out good places to hike and fish. Flyfishing for landlocked salmon in the Penobscot river was a memorable experience. The last night was spent at the cabin with a barbeque and smores on the campfire. Great experience for the whole family.
