Perfect hotel! Very clean, very comfortable, sophisticated but not stuffy. The ladies at the front counter was fantastic. Breakfast was a perfect selection. Bar was good. Location was in the middle of everything.

Decided to stay in this part of Maine as we were looking for a quieter vacation than we had last year. Beautiful, spacious room with full kitchen. Bathroom was very spacious. We were on the second floor. Some noise heard from restaurant at night, but not bad. Free breakfast was good. Wish could've had a little more protein. Our room had a pull out sofa that our son slept on. He had a pocket door to divide the room and his own tv. After all of our driving, it was good to just be somewhere to relax and chill. Everyone at the restaurant was super nice.

Left the County in 1990 to find work in Southern Maine. Went back for the week end to attend to some personal business and say hello to the friends that left us.

That being said, The Inn of Acadia provides to you all the amenities of the County and the People that make it work like a charm. I could give the Inn more stars of excellence, but it only offers 5. Worth it's cost in gold!!

We traveled to this area in February for Nordic States at the ski center. Sharon was quite pleasant during the whole reservation period. We could only get one day but asked to be on a waiting list since we wanted to stay for two days for the event. Sharon called and kept me in the loop for any cancellations. When the event was postponed for a day, she called me to let me know and move my reservations to accomodate my two day request. She was hands on and very professional. She met every question and need without pause. Inn was clean and very very pleasant., We will stay here again when in thus area. The brewery in Edmundson was awesome too!!

We went to Madawaska to visit family and friends for the w/end. We stayed at this inn. Our room was GREAT. The employees who work there were friendly and helped us out. We loved the Continental breakfast along with the beautiful views of Canada. We loved the ployes that Jemma & Sarah made for our breakfasts. Peggy at the front desk was wonderful. We needed a cot. She brought us one and there was no charge. We have no complaints about this Inn and will definitely stay again next time we are in the area. We went to the lounge to hear Jerry T, but got there after he had left already. Joe was our bartender. He was very nice. We also went up to the lounge again to have dinner, but the restaurant was getting ready to close. We were told we could get appetizers so ordered the scallops. Mike was the cook. The scallops were delicious.

Room Tip: I would want a room with a view of Edmundston
