Description: If you haven't visited Pedro's yet, you don't know what fun you're missing! The stuff of legends, Pedro O'Hara's can spin many tales, but it's the mix of American, Mexican, and Irish cuisines that makes it unique. Open daily starting at 11:30, the kitchen dishes up something for every taste, whether you're craving New England clam chowder, tequila lime chicken, a chimichanga, bangers and mash, shepherd's pie, or Murphy's lamb tip sandwich. The bar is well stocked with spirits, draft beers, and other libations that are just as good on their own as they are with a bite to eat. The ambiance has a traditional pub-style feel, complete with bar seating, televisions for sports events, and that Mexican-Irish influence that is the cornerstone of Pedro O'Hara's.

This was my first visit and I'm not sure I'll run back. The taco bar was okay but nothing to brag about. I believe it was about $10.00. They offered 2 soups, ground beef, pulled chicken and all the fixings. It was average.

The food is good, I would say they have the best salsa around! What I didn’t like was the wait staff was not very attentive to their customers! I guess if you are getting alcohol beverages, she doesn’t have time for you!! Fajitas were good, maybe a couple more flour wraps with it would be good, just because there is so much on the plate!

At first I was hesitant to try, but my colleagues went the night before and raves about the lamb sandwich. I was a bit confused by the name, but decided to give it a try based on their recommendation, and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a great combination of Mexican and traditional Irish dishes. I ordered the corned beef diner. The corned beef was perfectly cooked, but the only reason I gave a four was that there wasn’t enough of it. The wait staff was super nice and provided lots of detail on the specials. Oh, and the salsa and chips were great! Make sure you go during happy hour for drink and appetizer specials.

The food I had was burger and fries. It was a plate that was large, very clean, hot, and the fries were fresh. The burger was massive, and very fresh roll and meat, and fresh veggies on it. The lettuce was not old or wilted, but was crisp. Service also without doubt, a perfect 10. Kudos to Troy, he is amazing to pull this off in Maine!
