My husband and I dined at the White Barn Inn this past weekend. We were warmly welcomed by all the staff as we were led to our table. The food was outstanding, even my hard to please Husband had an outstanding experience. My only complaint was that our waiter hardly visited our table, instead spending at least 30 minutes at another couples table having a long animated conversation.
We finally had to ask one of the lovely young ladies who were clearing our courses for a glass of wine. We had planned to order a bottle of champagne to celebrate our Birthdays and Valentines day.
I also noticed that each woman at other tables were presented with a rose at the end of the meal. For some reason I was not included in this tradition.
I guess because my husband was only dressed in a houndstooth jacket rather than a black suit . We left feeling unwelcome and neglected.
