I have visited the restaurant together with my partner on the way to Faro.

When we have first approached the restaurant we had very little hope for finding it open. Indeed it was closed and opening in 30 min. Fortunately the staff noticed us through the window and let us in, more than 30 min before the official opening.

Before ordering we were served a small appetizer of delicious seasoned olives and tuna paste with bread.

We have ordered a goat cheese salad as a starter and a sirloin steak in mustard sauce as my main dish and grilled lamb ribs for my partner.

All dishes turned out to be absolutely perfect. The salad was made from fresh vegetables with grilled cheese and slightly seasoned with a honey-vinegar dressing that beautifully contrasted the taste of the cheese.

The main dishes were also great. the steak was prepared from a fine beef cut and prepared simply perfect. With great sauce and fries and a spinach salad for sides.
Similarly the lamb was a fantastic meal.

One small issue was that the staff did not speak English too good however with their commitment to communicate it turned out not to be a big deal.

The prices of the food are really cheap for the great quality of the meals, its worth noting the 'glass of wine' is really a lot of wine:)

we were unwell but needed to eat: they were happy to prepare food especially for us. No ifs no buts, they just did everything they could to give us a meal we could eat AND enjoy. Staff were brilliant. We will be back to sample their real menu.

Spotted the reviews for this lovely restaurant and decided to pop in for an early dinner - lucky we were early because from about 7.30 people were queuing to get a table. We were 3 adults and 6 children and everyone really enjoyed it. A couple of starters, mains and 5/6 desserts, drinks for the teenagers and a bottle of house white for €170 which we thought was fabulous value as the portions were extremely generous. We particularly recommend the monkfish / (enormous) king prawn skewer and the king prawn curry. The waiters were super friendly and happy to translate and advise on whatever we needed. Thoroughly recommended if you're in the area.
