From the moment we stepped into the Maine Stay Inn, we felt right at home. Claudio checked us in and gave us a tour of the Inn. It's a beautiful, old, home with two or three siting rooms that invite you to curl up in with a good book. Breakfast is served in a light and airy "sunroom" with overflow into the dining room. The gardens are lush with Adirondack chairs sprinkled throughout.
We stayed in the Dogwood Room in the wing behind the kitchen - very quiet, very comfortable. We had a great night's sleep. Roberta and Claudio are so friendly and helpful. (Claudio recommended a great restaurant - the Waterfront - for dinner and also recommended that we drive to the top of Mt. Battie to see the view). We enjoyed out stay very much and would absolutely return next time we are Camden!More
