We were in the Brunswick area a few weeks ago and stayed in a property ranked much higher on this site, but did not feel it lived up to the lofty rating. Back in Brunswick for a night, and all of the properties are very similar, 2 or 3 star motels. The recent posts for the Days Inn were encouraging and the price point was $35 less than the property we stayed in previously. There is no question this property from the outside is dated. Inside it looks like they have painted, put in new carpeting and the rooms were updated a bit as well. Bed was more comfortable at this property and room was clean. Yes you could hear neighbors, in our case the room above, but we did get a good nights sleep.
If the free continental breakfast is a priority (when a one night stay that is not as important to us) then this property lacks a lot of offerings and the area is small. As coffee drinkers, both the offerings in the room and at the breakfast disappointed. But based on the overall value if you just are in need of a room for a night I would recommend this property to friends and family.More
