Well worth the experience! Plenty of gators seen. Learned quite a bit about the bayou and relaxing event all around. Captain Reggie was a hoot!

Plantation was awesome and very informative guide. There is nothing really original left there but still super cool and a beautiful scenery. they talked a lot about the slaves experience which I really liked, because that's just history that can not be overlooked. Swap tour was freaking amazing and cool. We took the small air boat and there were literally one point in time when we were driving on the grass. It was awesome! We saw plenty of gators but for the most part no big ones. Our captain Dewey was so informative and charismatic he got off the boat and fed a gator with his bare hands it was nuts! Let us hold little bill (baby gator) and I was this close to just taking that cuteness home with me! Serious note though, if Dewey is single he can totally have my email -Cece.hunter@yahoo.com... Overall a super must do when visiting NOLA!

This was our favorite part of our trip!!! The scenery was amazing and it was so relaxing. Chaz made the experience wonderful by interacting with the gators...even getting off of the boat and feeding and playing with Hercules!!! A must do in NOLA!!!

Our family had plans for a New Orleans vacation (to include this tour) during spring break; however, it was cancelled with the Rona outbreak. We were able to visit in July while we were staying in Long Beach, MS. We booked the first tour in hopes that it wouldn't be too hot or too crowded. Our tour was great! Perfect weather and not too crowded. The captain, Reggie Domangue, was very knowledgeable and hospitable. He was even the inspiration for Ray in Disney's The Princess & The Frog. We had many alligators come to visit and eat marshmallows. You would think that once you've seen one alligator, you've seen them all. But, it was always exciting to see them heading your direction. Watching Reggie feed them marshmallows was pretty cool as well. My girls have said for years they wanted a pet alligator. And lo and behold, Reggie brings out a baby alligator for everyone to hold. Clearly my girls were excited! LOL! The swamps are beautiful and peaceful. The boat tour was a great way to spend the morning. We look forward to returning for an airboat ride!
