This is clearly a five-star choice for fishermen! We've stayed here twice (visiting family in the area) and it's been busy both times. The rooms are enormous, with two full-size beds and a sofabed, as well as desk, TV, microwave, refrigerator, assorted chairs. Tile floors. Everything shows heavy use, but very clean and the beds comfortable. Price is very reasonable.
No breakfast on offer but the grocery across the street has hot meals available. There's also a gas station/convenience store. Restaurant next door, not sure what its hours are but it's definitely open for the evening meal.
If you're expecting a standard off-the-highway motel with breakfast, carpeting, and upscale decor, you are likely to be disappointed. However, we've found it perfectly adequate for a night or two, and the location is ideal for us. We had my son's dog along this time, and it was great not to worry about slightly muddy paws.
A caveat: Fishermen get up early! We consider ourselves early risers, but the boats in the parking lot had generally vanished by the time we looked outside. Light sleepers might want earplugs.
