We weren't amazed by the food here, but we were certainly satisfied with our lunch. The seafood platter, which you really need to share, was good. Mint julep was so-so. Buttermilk pie is a MUST -- get your own piece for $5, you won't want to share. Service was efficient. Excellent Cajun cabin decor. The restaurant currently participates with restaurant.com, and with a voucher offers excellent value.

The cabin structure is very interesting, and there is lots to see. The food was okay, but could have used some more spice. If you are nearby, then stop in.

Stopped for a late lunch. The atmosphere is old time and makes you feel like you are in Cajun country. The crab cakes were out of this world. The crawfish ettouffe (however you spell it) was excellent.
Stop here if you are even close to the area.

This is a real puff the beaten path place. Pretty beat up looking but definitely go in! Their red beans and rice a is definitely the best I've ever had. The rest of the food was excellent too, but I really wish I'd ordered the beans and rice as an entree instead of as a side. But the real star was the buttermilk pie. None of us had heard of it so it had to be tried. Really the most amazing pie I have ever had.
