Dear Racquel F,
Thank you for taking the time to describe our hotel. We are located directly on Villa Beach overlooking the Caribbean Sea and some of the Grenadine Islands offering a breathtaking view and magical sunsets.
We take you comments very seriously. If you read through our reviews, most guests say that our food is very good. I do hope that you said something to the waiter because this is definitely not typical and we apologize most sincerely for such a terrible experience. We serve locally grown fruits and vegetables, fish is brought to our kitchen directly from the sea (by fishermen), and other meats are sourced through reputable providers on the island. Our food handling procedures should prevent this. We will conduct an investigation to determine how this happened and ensure it does not occur again. We are quite confident that if you were to come back your next dining experience would be very enjoyable.
Safe travels.

I stayed at the inn for a week and was pleasantly surprised with the service offered.
The cleaning staff were wonderful, efficient and helpful. Nikon the bartender gave excellent service and made the best Banana Daquiri that we've ever had.

.

Room Tip: Garden view rooms are away from the pool and main area so very quiet.

Dear BlacKiwi,
Thank you for sharing this review about your stay with Sunset Shores Beach Hotel. Our staff go out of their way to ensure our guests feel comfortable and at home. The sound of the waves from the warm Caribbean Sea gently touching Villa Beach provides a relaxing setting. We will make sure that our housekeeping staff know that their efforts are appreciated, and let Nikon know that his banana daiquiri was a hit! We have a picture of Nikon (on our Facebook page) holding an enormous one - with a giant smile to match. If the shot isn't already included in the pictures we have shared on TripAdvisor, we will add it! :)
Island Hospitality at Its Best - that's our motto. We hope that we will have the pleasure of serving you in the future when you return to visit St. Vincent.
Warmest Regards & Safe Travels

Got an ocean front room that had one of the best location. The hotel needs a major renovation as many things are visible broke. The hotel offers room service; however, there is no menu in the room. You have to ask what's available then decide. The staff are mostly friendly and has a good bar.

Room Tip: Get an ocean front room

Thank you for choosing to stay at Sunset Shores and for your feedback. We have a dedicated team addressing the room renovations and we are proceeding slowly. We just completed an additional room last week and we are printing new information binders for the rooms which will include a room service menu. Currently, most items on all menus are available for room service. Our staff do a great job making our guests feel welcome and providing excellent service. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the food and drink is good. We hope you will visit again at some point in the future to enjoy our fantastic location, breathtaking sunsets once our renovations have been completed.
Warm regards and safe travels.

We stayed in room 32, which had an amazing view from two sides, with 2 separate balconies. One opened up directly to the beach, with a view of Young Island, while the other had a pool/ocean view. This was an upgrade room, but most rooms seemed to enjoy some ocean view.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, and we felt we had good service. The room was kept very clean.
In addition to walking Villa beach, we took a 20 minute walk to Indian Bay Beach, and also took the free water taxi to Young Island, where we enjoyed a nice ($$)Sunday buffet lunch. Local buses were inexpensive and took us to downtown, where we caught the ferry to Bequia.
Although Villa beach was not large, it was sufficient for a nice stroll, plus the hotel had a quiet pool for relaxing and sunning. On cruise ship days, the beach became busier, but still acceptable.
Overall a most enjoyable week.

Dear Marilyn L.,
Thank you for taking the time to describe some of the adventures and activities that you enjoyed nearby while staying at Sunset Shores in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We are very pleased that you were comfortable in the Ocean Front room. The private balconies provide a quiet place to take in wonderful views of the beach and some Grenadine Islands - and of course magnificent sunsets. Our staff strive to provide Island Hospitality at its very best, and a relaxing environment that can serve as your home away from home while you explore St. Vincent's beauty. We hope you will choose to stay with us again when you return. Until then, warmest regards and safe travels.
