We stayed for a girls only weekend, just 3 of us. Was supposed to be 4 but she had to cancel and as much as we missed her, it was kinda good she did as the layout of the bathroom and dressing area made getting ready and bath time awkward. The sink was directly across from the bathroom door so little privacy there and then the full length mirror was on the wall between the sink and the actual bathroom - tight squeeze if someone is showering, someone is doing makeup and another is doing hair. All of this isn't a make or break thing. The room was relaxing, beds were comfy but honestly the reason this doesn't get 5 stars is NO housekeeping! We stayed 2 nights and no housekeeping. We had to call for toilet papers and our garbage cans overflowed. We mentioned it upon check out and they just shrugged and said "that's odd". Otherwise, everyone was polite, friendly and the hot breakfast was filling and worth while. Not a bad place to stay as long as you don't expect 5 star service. I'd stay again and just bring my own toilet paper and some plastic grocery bags. It's not a bad hotel.

Very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. A little issue setting the air conditioning. The tv in the master is fairly dark. The lighting in the bathroom is not very bright. Coffee was good in room. The breakfast was great. Very nice employees! I will stay again.

One measure of quality is consistency. This hotel consistently delivers. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times for both business and pleasure. The staff are very friendly and helpful. For example, I am always greeted and recognized as a Gold Card member. I always receive an upgraded room. Any request is handled quickly and efficiently. For example, I requested and was granted a late check-out.

The rooms are clean and fresh.

The hotel is always up to Marriott standards. If you are looking for a good quality Springhill Suites. This is the place. I have never been disappointed in any aspect of my stays here.

This property has my unqualified recommendation.

Room Tip: Rooms with a view of the race track during racing season. You can watch the ponies run. Very nice.

Stayed here on our way to Dallas from Florida. Hotel was nice, right next to the racetrack. We arrived late on a Saturday night, and there was a club next door that was playing very loud music, so we were concerned. We couldn't hear it from our room though, which was a relief. The room was very nice, but the A/C and fan was extremely loud when it came on. The fan woke us up all night every time it cycled on. Staff was very friendly and there was free breakfast also. All in all a nice stay.

We stayed one night and it was fabulous. The lady at check in was really friendly and the entire process only took 1 minute. We stayed on the 4th floor at the end by Louisiana Downs and it was very quiet. Our room was very spacious and clean. Bathroom was a good size, nice shower, warm water. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space in the kitchen/living area.

Best part of our stay was the breakfast. Very friendly breakfast attendant. Sitting area was clean. All of the food was delicious, there were almost too many options to choose from. They had so much variety of hot and cold items that included eggs, potatoes, ham, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, waffles and cinnamon rolls.

The entire hotel was clean. Parking lot was pretty big. The area was quiet. Easy to find right off the highway. Close to a couple restaurants across the street. We felt safe in the area. We would definitely stay here again.
