My wife and I have visited Brazaville Beach Resort for more than ten years and each year we return the resort keeps getting better. There has been a management change in the last couple of years and this has lead to some positive changes. But we never had any complaints with the last manager. There is a restaurant that is available and the food is great. What I like most is that I feel like family when we visit. The owner and manager is well traveled through the world and the needs of the tourist. This is a problem is many places in the Philippines but not at Brazaville. The staff is amazing! If I was to say friendly and serving then i would be understating the truth. At each moment you are presented with a friendly smile but always respectful. Understand Brazaville is a small resort located on an absolutely gorgerous beach situated on the Sulu Sea. I often found myself just staring out into the open ocean. It was hypnotic and allow me to free my mind of stress. There is a small bar on the edge of the beach which adds to the relaxing environment that surrounds this wonderful resort. A few KM away is the public market. We went with one of the cooks to pick out some fresh fish for the evening meal, also local vendors brought fresh prawns and squid which was served later in the day for dinner. If something is not on the menu just ask and they will try to get it for you. All the fish is locally caught so you can always expect the freshest of ingredients. I have going to the Philippines for many years and this resort will meet the expectations of travelers from all over the World. Some other points that i enjoy is you can walk the white sand beach forever and the bonus is you will seldom see others on the beach. I love the fact that the beach is not crowded. Also, at night you can see lights glowing. Theses are the lights from the small fishing boats that work the waters. Many of them are many KM out so the lights appear like stars floating on the water. Finally the town and area of Brazaville is tranquil and peaceful. No one is in a rush. The roads are not busy and everyone i meet were extremely friendly and polite. Most were interested in you and where you are from. The local people our proud of their town and the area surrounding it. If want to avoid the rush and noise of city life go visit Brazaville. Thank you to the owner and staff for making our trip to the Philippines so wonderful.

Thank you
Richard Kennedy

Room Tip: All the rooms are somewhat the same. The rooms are simple but clean with quiet Aircon. Very affordable.

Our large group rented out a few rooms for summer team building activities and we greatly enjoyed the place and it's amenities. The place was clean and well maintained and had adequate facilities for us to relax and enjoy the summer vacation.

Hinoba-an is small and very relaxed. If you walk the central market you feel rural Negros. Do not expect any fancy restaurant but do expect local food served by charming and friendly people. Some 1.5 km south, you migh wish to stay at Brazaville Beach Resort, a nice, clean and neat resort directly at the beautiful beach, facing West (sunset). Take a swim, relax and walk along the beach to the city market - that takes you half an hour. And it is an expedition to the contemporary life of Negros fishermen. At sunset, they set sails for the night catch, and their children playing at the beach. A lovely scene.
Rooms are right size, good value, very clean and neat. Nothing to worry at a fair price.

Room Tip: Walk along the beach to city market!
