The hotel is easy to locate off a main thoroughfare. The lighting in the parking lot at night is not the best, but overall, the location as a whole was clean and very friendly to families. Could also place ice machines on multiple floors versus only the 2nd floor.

Room tip: location busy/active due to sports teams staying. good location for sports teams traveling.

The hotel was clean and the mattress comfortable. The room was spacious for 3 people. There were no issues with the room.

Breakfast was good. I was surprised to see they offered biscuits and gravy on the Sunday we were there. The issue was parking, which was a serious problem. The clerk warned us that we could park next door at the Courtyard if the lot was full -which tells me this must happen frequently for late arrivals. Every spot was filled, including all of the handicapped spots. To even find this out however I had to go down the aisle at the end of the building, which dead ends, meaning I had to back all the way out. It was extremely frustrating having to park so far away. If you expect to arrive late, I would avoid this hotel

burghughes, thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I am glad to hear that you were happy with your room and our breakfast selections, but I am sorry about the issues that you ran into with parking. Unfortunately, on very busy nights this issue does arise sometimes, but thankfully this is not an everyday occurrence. I apologize again for any inconvenience this may have caused you and hope that you will give us another chance the next time your travels bring you to Louisville.

Unless you are a Marriott club member there are other hotel Chain’s better than Marriotts these days. The breakfast was marginal (oatmeal running and not much fruit). It would be better to go to the Panera next store. My shower had significant rust in it. I am getting close to lifetime status at Marriott and I have to say I am not a big fan anymore unless it is a full service Marriott. I would check out other chains.

dancestop, thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I apologize that you were unsatisfied with our breakfast offerings and for the problem with your shower. I have addressed the shower issue with our maintenance and housekeeping team to ensure that it is an isolated occurance. I hope the next time your travels bring you to Louisville that you will consider giving us another chance.

Located in northeast Louisville, it is conveniently located just off of Loop 265 and Highway 71. Very easy on and off the highways. It is on a small side street, but GPS gets you there without a problem.

This hotel is in a residential area with many restaurants and businesses nearby. (Most of the restaurants are chains and fast casual.) The hotel is large, four stories and next to a large Courtyard as well. While the lobby, common areas and dining room have been renovated, the rooms themselves could use a redo. The rooms felt a bit small as well. Checkin and checkout experience was positive with friendly and helpful staff members.

Another concern I have with the Residence Inn brand, the bedding is just okay and the breakfasts need quite a bit more creativity and choice.

We stayed there for the second time this week. The facility is clean and the personnel are nice. The breakfast is also nice. That's the good part. On the last trip I slipped slightly in the tub but no injury. This time my husband fell in the slippery tub resulting in a knot on his head, strained ankle and neck and a large gash on his arm. After I got the bleeding slowed down, I went to the desk to get their first aid kit. He was nice but didn't know where it was kept and had to call the manager at home. The kit was very poorly stocked. Basically, it was a box of Band-Aids. He offered to call 911 but this wasn't a life threatening event. We did want the gash and head checked out but he told us we would have to go to downtown Louisville to a hospital and he said there wasn't an Urgent Care place near so we decided to see how he was in the morning. The manager called after 9AM and took a report. He did tell us that there was an urgent care place less than a mile away. Later we found that there was a hospital within 5 miles. Recommendations to RI: fully stock the first aid kit, label the drawer in which it is stored, in that same drawer have a laminated list of local hospitals, urgent care locations and the directions to each; location manager should call the injured person's room within one hour. Recommendations to renters: don't stay here if you value your safety in the shower.
