We had 2 nights in room 4 which was very comfortable. Spacious .v large bed and air con which was a real bonus -temperatures in the high 20s. The rooms have a separate entrance .the view was good, overlooking the terrace, bowls green and Severn towpath.
Good evening meals, busy and popular with local people but nog overcrowded. Staff very pleasant.
Plenty of parking. Lovely terrace for drinks or eating. Good location for Shrewsbury, David Austin rose garden., Gosford RAF museum. Both well worth a visit.
Rather disappointing breakfast, not very flexible options-no yogurt or fruit. Otherwise would be a 5.
Certainly stay again and recommend it.

Stayed here for the night in July, lovely sunny day so spent some time in the beer garden which was very pleasant overlooking the river. We had a Sunday roast which was nice although they had run out of stuffing which was a bit dissapointing.
The family room with kitchenette was very very nice, we were very happy and could not find any fault at all. Staff were very friendly and the service was good. Well done.

Room 11 in the eaves - Small twin room fine for 1 person cramped if 2 people sharing. Very small shower room & separate wc. nowhere for toiletries etc in shower room.
Walls very thin, & had rather interrupted night with noisy neighbours

On the plus side room very clean.

6 adults and 1 child, visited on a Saturday lunchtime after booking a table mid morning. great variety of choices from the menu, the salmon in white wine sauce was beautiful! Very busy, meaning that we did have to wait a while to be served, this also meant that we didn't have the puddings we had planned on because it took 15 minutes for menus to be checked for the order (by that point it was very noisy and busy and we left)
Always delivers quality meals!

very nice room pity about the yobs in the rooms next to us woke us up at 1am slamming doors and talking very loudly and again at 7. 30 am when you pay £85 for room only its not good enough we really liked the Corbet arms but this has put us off.

Room tip: Check there are no yobs booked in before you go
