This motel is just off the main highway, across from the Tangier Outlet Mall, and about a 20 minute drive to Amana, using a scenic route through the Amana Colonies. The motel is clean and comfortable, with very friendly and helpful staff. There are few amenities, i.e. no pool, basic continental breakfast, no in-room coffee. However, it is an excellent value if one needs a clean, comfortable place to stay near the Amana Colonies. We were quite satisfied.

Stopped on way back to Ohio. Reading the previous reviews are spot on. Clean, friendly owners, updated comfortable rooms. Glad to support a local establishment. Stop by here , you won't be disappointed ...............................!!!!!!

The hosts, Gary and Kandi were very nice and helpful. They guided us to a small restaurant just down the hill from the motel. They have a beautiful yard with outside sitting areas. Simple continental breakfast-enough to start the day. The coffee cakes seemed homemade. This motel was so clean I toed my shoes of on the way into our room. I don't often feel comfortable without shoes in a motel. This one was the exception. I would come here again and use this motel as a landing point to visit the area.

It's not a fancy hotel if that's what your looking for, but if your looking for a very clean, cozy, and quite stay , then this is your place. We love the country feel and view's . The sunset was spectacular .There are grounds to walk around and stretch your legs and picnic tables to sit at while surrounded by the rolling hills and countryside. Restaurants , retail stores and convenience stores right at your doorstep .The room was very clean with everything we needed .T.V. mini fridge ,microwave ,Shower and WIFI all worked great . A/C really puts out some cold air which was wonderful for the hottest day of the year. We didn't eat breakfast so I cant comment on that. Very quite room we didn't even hear anything from outside. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Great little place away from the rat race of super chain hotels

Room Tip: ask for a room with a view of the countryside for amazing sunsets.
