For the price and location you can't go wrong. It is far cheaper than any of the park owned hotels and the perfect place to stop either before or after climbing Mount Kinabalu. Walk up the hill for 2 minutes to get a cheap taxi to the mountain or to the bus to KK.

Very comfortable and clean, basic in a good way! Views of the mountain were spectacular.

We had an evening meal in the Chinese restaurant. It was probably the best Chinese meal I've had! The breakfast wasn't perfect, but provides all the right nutrients for climbing the mountain.

Enjoy!
