Interesting and unusual. Fun to walk or drive (down only, you can’t drive up). Be sure to check out the lovely old homes nearby on North Hill.

I never knew this was there! We pulled up to the bottom of it wondering if it was possible to make it up it in our 24' motorhome. We decided that would not be a good idea. Besides not being able to make the turns..the exit is at the bottom of it! Pretty awesome road though. It is made of bricks. I recommend everyone to check it out.

Fun and fast! Great little side trip in Burlington IA, a charming river town. I can’t imagine how it would be in winter with snow and ice!

We had so much fun we drive this block long, twisty turning cobblestone steep alley TWO times. Looks like people actually access real houses from this alley as well. Hope they don’t get much snow
