We were on a three day road trip from the east coast to Colorado and stopped just west of Indianapolis in Plainfield after first day. We have moderate expectations when we're on the road, but were happy to find a Japanese restaurant, We were even happier when we found it was the real deal. A skilled Sushi chef was making a wide arrangement of rolls and we had three. the "Big Daddy" roll really filled us up, but, being the Sushi pigs that we are, we had two others. We did not have any Nigiri or Sashimi, though the fish looked very fresh in the case.. Service was just fine. Nothing to worry about. Our server was fairly familiar with the menu and pretty helpful.

This is one of our favorite places to eat!!! We live nearby and visit often. Staff is friendly, attentive, and always wearing a smile. Our fam favs: Scotty, (is a must- even for those sushi-skeptics) Las Vegas, Sun, Philly, Narita, Volcano, and anything Tuna!

We decided to walk in and give it a try although sea food freshness is something you don't bet on....
It was not good to say the least. My colleague ended up visiting the restrooms twice within an hour after finishing lunch.
Beware !

Me and my husband were invited by a group of friends to eat here and I have to say the food was amazing but we never get out much and didn't really have the money to begin with. The bill came and was 50$ for two entrees and two drinks plus an 8$ appetizer. We really only had 50 to spend so unfortunately we were only able to leave a dollar tip. It was nothing personal, just didn't want our bank account to go negative. Everyone else in the party tipped 15% or more so the guy made some money. BUT THEN our bank contacts us today and says that our account overdraft due to the 58.-- bill from Narita's! Our waiter had changed the 1.00$ tip to a 9.00$ tip!!!!! Never in my life have I been stolen from like that from a restaurant. When we called to complain the first question the manager asked was why we tipped so low?! Why does it matter? That's stealing!!! If you use a card to pay here I would write out the tip in word for like "one dollar" instead of writing numbers that can easily be changed after you walk out the front door.

Overall a very good restaurant experience.

We found Narita to be a clean restaurant, very nice interior with high booth walls for privacy for couples.

Narita has a good sized menu with something for everyone. We didn't try the sushi on this night but both of us had the Shrimp Hibachi dinner that comes with a choice of soup and a salad.

Portions were good sized, service was very good as well.

About the only thing we would improve on is outside lighting as on this particular evening we could not tell if the restaurant was open.
