The only thing that's good, is how convenient the location is, the rest is bad. The experience was unpleasant from the start. The office smelled strongly of stale curry. Their prices are higher than competing hotels in town I've stayed at. I feel remorse for not having taken pictures, as room pictures online I've seen DON"T MATCH AT ALL to the room I was rented. From what I've seen, everything they do here concerning: repairs, cleaning, fixtures, furniture, even the soap, shows that they don't care, they just want your money. They demanded a cash deposit for the room key after I paid for the room with my credit card. When I handed them a bill greater than the $5.00 they requested, they acted dumbfounded, and had to call the manager (owner?) for change. They also demanded to know whether or not I smoked, as their hand written sign declared "no smoking", and they were very rude about the matter, asking again and again until they got an answer. The room was very depressing. It was as though they bought everything (I do mean everything) in the room second hand. The soap in the bath was from a Comfort Inn (dated 1997 no less). The shower had black streaks in the grout, and also a tile saying I was at the "TraveLodge". A bit of research shows that indeed, this used to be a TraveLodge, and in fact, it had been there in the 50's (different mascots every 10yrs). I used to think other places were bad in this city, this is worst. Don't stay here. I don't care if they have rooms available, and everywhere is booked in a 30 mile radius, don't stay here.
