I had a very good experience at the Westin, as far as chain hotels go, I usually stay at Hilton properties. The Westin was required for the conference I was attending.
The location of the property is a little off the circle, but is within easy walking distance to all of the bars and restaurants that are on the circle. It is also in a great location in regards to the convention center, Lucas Oil Stadium, and Victory Field (AAA Baseball)
The staff was polite, but not overly helpful, I didn't feel that they went out of their way to make sure my stay was pleasant. The room was clean, and well appointed.
The building is also very secure, with a key required to travel on the elevator at all hours of the day, at least every time I was on the elevator.
The meeting facilities were nice, the food within the meetings was average, and again the staff working the events were polite, but not going out of their way to make the stay better.
If you are in Indy, there are some better hotels, but this one was better than most.More
