Marriott's SpringHill Suites was perfect for our business trip as it was centrally located in downtown Indianapolis close to the sports arenas, convention center, museums, state house and all the restaurants and shops. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly. Especially the front desk as they were very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. The hotel has a modern look to it. My suite was also a new modern design with warm colors, walk-in shower, comfortable king-size bed, a large flat-screen TV, great view of the di=owntown area. The suites modern design made good use of the space and it felt roomy and comfortable. The parking garage rate was $23/night to self-park. The hotel was connected to the Courtyard, Fairfeild and JW Marriott. The pool was very small. The breakfast was adequate for a free meal. The room had WiFI and was a strong connection. The lobby computers were fast as any hotel computer that I have used. I would recommend the hotel.

Room Tip: The indoor walkways are great to get to the downtown restaurants and shops, the convention center and the sport stadiums.

My family and some friends spent the weekend here over Halloween weekend - it could not have been more enjoyable.

Check-in was quick & friendly. The clerk noticed my little girl right away and offered her a small toy & some candy. That was really nice.

The room was large, well furnished (3 beds when you pull out the sofa-bed), and impeccably clean. The shower and vanity are separate from the toilet - this is very helpful when travelling with 3 kids and 2 adults.

One of my favorite things about this hotel is that it connects to the JW Marriott, and from there to the Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, and the mall. It was nice enough outside to walk outdoors, but I will definitely remember this the next time I'm in the area in the winter.

The free breakfast area was kept up well - the food was fresh and (with one exception) tasty. The once exception being the "egg patties" - some kind of pre-formed slab of an egg like substance. Yikes.

Finally, the hotel was surprisingly quiet - we were there at the same time as a couple of high school sports teams. Yet we didn't hear a peep out of them. The only noise issue occurred Saturday night when someone came back home drunk and thought he needed to bang his head against the wall. That's not the hotel's fault.

Room Tip: The parking lot across the street is considerably cheaper.

Every employee was friendly. The room was immacculate and spacious--hotel booked so they gave us handicapped which had tub and shower...Newly reomodeled with fun decor. Couch/desk/coffee/fridge area--plenty of living space. Free internet and breakfast a plus which is rare with hotels this close to all the action. Breakfast good--sausage patties, eggs, muffins, waffles, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juices and coffee.

Parking was the only downfall--only valet due to being full.. we opted for 10 dollar parking across the street.

We walked easily to the zoo, the mall and the university's Natatorium.

I came to Indianapolis to visit a specialist at the University of Indiana Hospital. From the minute we entered this hotel, my family and I were impressed with the look and cleanliness of the Springhill Suites in downtown Indianapolis. Every employee we encountered was pleasant, helpful, and extremely friendly, The beds were comfortable, the pillows, were exquisite, and the view was breathtaking. The hotel was within walking distance to various types of recreation. If we ever return we know we will be staying at the Springhill suites!!!

Room Tip: I would stay on one of the higher floors for an amazing view!

This was the second time my husband chose to stay at SpringHill Suites in downtown Indianapolis. Despite being booked in a room closest to the elevators during a busy, 24-hour a day convention (Gen Con), it was quiet.

We were delighted by TGI Friday's being the room service. It gave us a chance to have food delivered that exceeds our expectations of hotel food. Speaking of which, as was the case last year, they didn't have enough food at the free buffet in the morning to keep up with the number of people coming through at the same time. I'd hoped that was just a glitch from having just opened, but it wasn't any better this time.

Otherwise, it's what I expect from a Marriott: clean, spacious, and with a couple of niceties. The very small fridge isn't enough to keep many leftovers, but it does keep fruit and drinks cold.

I was disappointed that you have to wiggle through a maze of pathways, elevators, and halls to get to the skywalk, but it's better than having to be outside if it's raining or exceedingly warm and you're carrying stuff!

The free printing from the lobby computer was a great amenity, but they underestimated the printing needs and didn't re-fill the cartridges over three days of sketchy printing.

Overall, still a good stay and I'd recommend it.
