This is a good place for run , it has a trial for bikes and runners and it connects with people trial that exist in the town, it is safe and clean , it has restrooms just in case, no cost , its free, two blocks from downtown, if you stay in the Indigo Hotel, the park is there just crissing the street. I love run in this place

Mill Race is such a beautiful park. And it's a good place for almost anything you can think of. There is a nice playground for young childen, running/walking trails, paddle boats, picnic tables, a boat launch, an ampitheater for concerts, lots of open space for Frisbee or other activities, a covered bridge and multiple ponds which are perfect backdrops for photos, and so much more.

We so enjoyed a sunny morning for a walk by the rivers and the man made lake/pond. Very peaceful and quiet.

Enjoyed the evening walk through the woods in and out of Mill race park.
Sitting around the pond after the walk sipping on homemade lemonade was a plan. However the uncleanliness and tons of mosquitoes made us change our plans
Sad that nobody cleans the pond area. There is duck /geese poop everywhere and muddy puddles too.
But if you want to just walk thru it is a great place

We saw this park on a architectural tour and went back later that day. They have a tower that you can walk up (elevator doesn't work) that gives you an interesting view of the city and river. They have one of the most beautiful and old covered bridges there that we've seen anywhere. Very nice.
