Crazy that you would want seafood at an Italian place, but just do it! The orange roughly, OH MY! Served on a bed of Angel hair pasta with a delightful garlic oil sauce, and all the flavors meld so nicely. Large portions. Thin crust pizza was ok, average. Nothing special there. Should've got the deep dish. Interior decor has the feel of an outdoor vineyard...LOVE!

The food is delicious. Always hot and delicious. The service is usually very good too. We have been going to this place for over 23 years.

We had gone to the Bensenville Theatre and afterwards we decided to go to La Dolce Vita Restaurant for dinner. There is plenty of parking in the lot. There is also (what could be) an outdoor patio. Way too cold for this visit. We were seated quickly. Two slices of pizza bread were brought to the table, but they weren't warm, though they were easy to eat and tasty. We each had a cup of cream of chicken soup, but curiously one was warmer than the other. It was very creamy, however. For our entrees, we ordered pumpkin capelacci which was homemade pumpkin filled pasta with brown butter sage and reggiano parmesan. We also ordered a a linguini gamberi broccoli. Both entrees were excellent and both were ample portions. We left some to take home, which meant that we split a cannoli. It was quite creamy and tasty. Our server, John, was very personable and quite efficient, as was the rest of the staff. The only downside was the temperature in the dining room. It just seemed a bit too chilly. The warmest place in the whole restaurant, other than the pizza oven, was in the men's restroom. It's just not much fun, when you are getting cold eating dinner.

a pleasant place feels like italian country, suitable for all size parties ( up to 40 ) and occasions, more than adequate wine list, a small bar with a TV, restrooms clean as it gets. Windows to the street in a small town. 10 minutes from the Doubletree in the same town.
