These guys do it right. Its a traditional pit BBQ experience you'd find along the road down south, old style. Never had better

We went after seeing this place on a local news feature. Naturally we weren't the only ones doing the same thing and clearly this was a busy day. Line was to the door and we had to wait about 15-20 minutes to place our order and another 10 for our food. That said....the smell of this place will make you drool. I had a smoked turkey sandwich & my husband had a brisket platter. Really good food. A bit out of the way and relatively nondescript on the outside (it's in a shopping center) but some of the best BBQ I've ever eaten. SO good.
* Really high quality meat. I recommend the pulled pork dinner.
* Service was really friendly. Person working behind the counter really went out of his way to start a conversation.
* BBQ sauces were really tasty.
* Reasonable prices
* Large portions
* Atmosphere was not the best.
Great food. I would highly recommend it for carry out.
One of the better BBQ experiences I've had in this area. I came in on a Saturday night so there was a bit of a line but it moved quickly. The gentlemen taking orders was incredibly friendly especially considering how busy it was. As a person who has worked in this industry, that is quite commendable. The prices were reasonable and the orders were fulfilled quickly.
I ordered ribs with a side of fries and cole slaw. The ribs and sauces were amazing. I really enjoyed the firebox hot sauce. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the cole slaw or fries. The slaw was placed with the fries and became warm by the time I got home (I'm only 10 minutes away). The fries were a bit soggy and tasteless as well.
But anyway, it's the BBQ that mattered to me and it was wonderful. I'll definitely be back soon. Thank you for the great meal.
