Waterfall Skakavac is located 12 km north of Sarajevo, above village Nahorevo. This is one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in BiH and a real tourist attraction. The waterfall is 98 meters high and it's located in the landscape of extraordinary beauty. Although it does not have a large flow of water, it is distinguished by extraordinary beauty, especially in winter when the ice overlaid slap and forms fantastic view. The surrounding area is one of the most heterogeneous in the region where dominates spruce-fir forest.
