It starts at the front desk, which is staffed by genuinely welcoming people who also leave you with the impression that they've been at this a while and are very, very good at it. It felt like a world hotel desk. I interacted with three different front desk people and all of them were cosmopolitan yet customer-friendly. I love it when this happens.
The room was a suite, extremely reasonably priced, notably well-designed, and comfortable in a way you want a hotel room to be so you can navigate the space quickly and sensibly.
The parking lot was well-lighted and therefore felt safe. The walls are apparently quick thick in the hotel because it was quiet all night despite being noticeably busy.
The location is near O'Hare, near and many restaurants, entertainment and shopping of all kinds, and of course, within striking distance of downtown Chicago.
The entire experience was that of a visit to a world city, this hotel and its staff being a decidedly big part of that. I was very impressed and will definitely rebook there on subsequent trips to Chicagoland.More
