Love the Ping’s noodle soup and mandarin soy duck. The restaurant is always busy so go early. Noodle in black bean sauce and summer salad are also popular dishes.

I knew the original owners when they owned YU's Mandarin.
Have always been a fan of the restaurant.
Only drawback is they are always crowded and service can be better.
Other wise I have always enjoyed coming here.

I expected more. The portions were small and the price was higher than the taste of the food warranted. Service was mediocre.

We really love the food, but it was impossible to get by how rude and poor our waiter was. He was scowly and our requests for a pop refill were met with disgust. When we left after still leaving a generous tip he failed to say thanks. He merely grabbed the money and walked away. We could not have been nicer but none of us have ever experienced a waiter so rude!

We went to Chef Ping for lunch and we were pleas@ntly surprised. We got there at 11:30 when they opened and it wa# empty. That changed quickly. By the time we left every table was filled.
My wife had the Broccoli Beef, which was very good. It came with a salad, egg roll, rice and a fried wonton, all for $8.50. I had the Kung Pao Shrimp and Chicken, which was outstanding. I asked for it extra spicy and the made it perfectly. It came with the Hot and Sour Soup, which was perfect, an egg roll, fried wonton and rice all for $7.95. The egg rolls were perfect.
The service was friendly and fast. It was a bright and lively space. It was nice having the windows on a bright sunn6 day.
We will definitely be back again.
