I used a Groupon for the restaurant side (could have used for hibachi as well). I picked a great blend of sushi with an calamari appetizer and it was all exceptional good. Topped off with a chicken teriyaki dinner that was great also. The Crown Royal Manhattan from the bar was excellent, I will definitely be returning to try out the hibachi side. Highly recommend the Shinto.

It was half-price sushi night and the place was buzzing. We waited about 20 minutes, but it was worth the wait. We took advantage of the sushi specials and ordered four different kinds for the three of us. All of the fish and veggies were fresh and delicious. The presentation was beautiful for as long as it lasted! Our server was wonderful and came frequently to check on drinks and gave us some Moshi tips. Based on this experience, I will definitely try the Shinto in a neighboring Ohio community.

Looking for a place that was open for late lunch and Shinto popped out with my search. Great selection and was offering happy hour and specials for Tuesday. The. Dragon roll was really good and the specialty rolls are a must try too! Try the shrimp tempura but am not really recommending the tempura ice cream, this item needs improvement but You can never go wrong with this place for sushi and rolls!

Situated in a strip plaza, Shinto is a neighbourhood Japanese sushi and Teppanyaki place with a large bar and a space divided into table service and cooking tables. On the first visit there, we were impressed with the service, volume of food and overall taste. On the second visit, for some reason, everything tasted "salty". From the soup option, to the grilled meats and fried rice, the level of salt used will keep you thirsty.

The special sushi rolls are good and serve as a nice appetizer before a cooking table meal. However, pace yourself, as the cooking table dinners have a large volume of food, particularly the rice and the meats.

The presentation is text book Teppanyaki chef stuff with onion slice volcanoes and flying yolks. The chef took the time to explain how he got into Teppanyaki cooking and the overall quality of the food was great. I might tend to go a bot heavier on the sushi next time and select the steamed rice instead of the friend rice. That might balance the salt and soy used on the cooking table food.

Overall a good place to go with a group or people who have never been to this type of restaurant. The main bar is a great place to have some sushi and a beer and watch a game.

Had the onion soup which is done if the best I have had. Also had an assortment of sushi and a spicy Tina roll. Not a bad piece in the bunch
