We have been going to this Cabin for quite a few years and each time we enjoy it more and more and can't wait to go back. We always seem to find something new to do in the area. This is a special place for us. Very good location and lots to do in the area. Even though it is very tranquil you are never far away from lots of good pubs and lovely food. Lovely people that own the cabin, very friendly and always helpful.

Reviewed 24 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

the cabin is well situated in woodland a short drive to ambleside which makes an excellent base for many places to visit locally .whether walking or taking short drives the scenery and villages are outstanding.the cabin as two bedrooms and alarge room come diner.the kitchen area as a great cooker and all utensils and pots are plentiful.the shower is good.on site we enjoyed the pool and sauna after a full day out and about .eating out isn't a problem as there are plenty of good pub food outlets nearby.

“Best place I have stayed for a while!”
Reviewed 21 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, was so peaceful and quiet. The owners have thought of everything you may need or want, with good quality appliances, crockery etc. We will definitely be booking this again for our next stay at the Lake District!

“perfect winter hideaway”
Reviewed 20 September 2015 for a stay in December 2014

we had a lovely stay here just after xmas to distress. the lodge is warm, cosy with everything you need. it had just snowed the day before we got here so we had a gorgeous view of snow peaked mountains from our bedroom window. the lodge is tucked away down a little hill so we had some privacy. the kids weren't bored as we paid for Wi-Fi, and found the games tucked away in the wardrobe in twin room. we stayed for 3 nights and put about £9 in the meter, we had heaters on in mornings, late afternoon and evening while we were in as it was very cold outside, the cabin warmed up very quickly .would definitely stay here again and recommended to our friends also.

“Could'nt get any more relaxed”
Reviewed 14 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Just back from a long weekend in the Lakes and our fourth stay in Blelham Tarn, The cabin is situated in a beautiful wooded location and in our opinion has the best plot on the Neaum Crag estate. It is really well furnished snug & cozy, great to just kick back and relax in the evening with a glass of wine or three or if the sun is shining sit out on the decking over looking the Langdale valley. The cabin is equipped with everything you could possibly need there is a swimming pool and sauna a stones throw from the cabin. Ambleside is only a couple of minutes away by car also basic pub grub which is ok within walking distance and lots of great places to eat a short drive or cab ride away.
Blelham Tarn makes a great base for walking not that we managed to do much this time :-( recent car accident made any strenuous walking a no no, So we concentrated on the relaxing side of things :-) and Blelham Tarn is just the right place for that. There are couple of nice light walks right on the door step though, Loughrigg tarn three to fourish mile and a couple of nice loops around Elterwater. Keep an eye out in the garden for deer, red squirrels lots of rabbit's and ...... the pug !!

Already looking forward to the next visit
