If you want a fun, relaxed dinner in a casual environment, this is the place. Jim and Joanie, the owners, are the most gracious, welcoming hosts. The food reflects their passion for all things related to New Orleans The fried artichokes are a great starter. Their jambalaya is as authentic as you can get on the suburbs, and the barbecue should not be missed. The two bite desserts are the perfect finish, but wear something close, because you will walk out full!

After a morning meeting I popped in for lunch with a few others. Been here before and enjoyed my meal. This time I tried a skirt steak sandwich with grilled onions. Had a Caesar salad beforehand and ice tea to drink. Steak well prepared. Good service.

Man, this place leaves me happier every time. The food could not be better. You can tell it’s so fresh. The shrimp carbonara is my favorite pasta. The staff is so friendly; so refreshing to see the owners working alongside their own staff. The owners check on everyone to make sure they are doing okay. Well done!

Wide variety of choices makes this a place that everyone will find something to enjoy. Loved the shrimp and grits. Unfortunately, found the French onion soup to be very disappointing. The use of chicken stock and failure to caramelize the cheese on top, made the soup bland.

Two days ago we were looking for a place for lunch before hitting the road back home. After a rather extensive internet search, the restaurant that (based on its menu) stood out from a long category of indistinguishable (and boring) 'sandwich and burger' establishments, was Bluegrass.
It was difficult to make our choice --so many different offerings, but we ordered tuna tartare (presented in a cup mounted on a bowl with a live fish swimming in it --see photograph), the large softshell crabs and the crayfish étouffée. All excellent and way to go!
Sorry to live far away and not be able to return...
